This blog is to chronicle my attempt to restore a 1972 Piper Cherokee 140e. This plane is the 'dog' of the airport and has been sitting untouched for 10 years. I purchased the plane and am attempting to restore it to flyable condition.

HOWTO Video ADS-B Build
I was getting notes from people interested in the ADS-B build but unsure of how to get started once they received their kits from Amazon.
I did a quick 10 minute video that should give you a good overview of what to do with all the parts and how to get started on building the final unit.
Hi, using FlyQ. Downloaded image on r-pie all looked good. Getting an odd flicker from "adsb connected" to GPS lock. Didn't seem to work, but at 2.5k hit on 4 towers. Did I do something wrong? Help...
Great video, thanks for posting it. I have been reading about this all day long.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, will load the program to mine tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Joe,
ReplyDeleteIf I wish to run both antenae, do I purchase 2 of the same and the software handles the programming of the frequency?
Thanks,
Sean
Yes basically the software will handle talking to both receivers. However you must have them connected before you power the unit on.
