This blog is to chronicle my attempt to restore a 1972 Piper Cherokee 140e. This plane is the 'dog' of the airport and has been sitting untouched for 10 years. I purchased the plane and am attempting to restore it to flyable condition.

Another weekend...
Weekend before Christmas and snuck in a quick hour in the pattern. Nice little breezy wind to see how the Cherokee does in a cross-wind.
Plane did great again and handled very well. Did a short field take off to see how that would go and it went very well, jumps right off the runway.
Dude! Love your story . I just bought a 1972 Cherokee this week and can hardly wait to bring her home. Kuddos
